I contact you to inform you about the EU-PROMENS project, which is a capacity building in mental health and has been implemented in all EU member states, Iceland, Norway and Ukraine. EU-PROMENS is financed by the European Commission under the EU4Health Programme.
The project started in 2024 and since then, we have completed a needs analysis and developed a multidisciplinary, modular training programme in mental health. The pilot trainings have already been started in two countries where the programme has its collaborating hubs.
The other sub-task of EU-PROMENS, the Exchange Programme in mental health, has been very successful; to date we have 418 participants in it.
I am writing to inform you that registration for the second wave of the Exchange Programme is now open for Croatia, the Czech Republic and Austria until 12 July, for the Netherlands until 1 August and for Finland until 31 October. Registration for Spain will open soon.
As the exchange programme differs in the hubs prospective participants should check the programme in advance before they apply.
Please note that the project will cover all travel, accommodation and board costs of the Exchange Programme participants.
